  • Do I need to make an appointment to try on dresses?
    Yes, we are open exclusively for private appointments only. All appointment fees are deducted from the cost of your dress if purchased within your appointment. You can book an appointment through our website - Book Appointment.
  • How many guests can I bring along to my appointment?
    We encourage you to bring a few close family members or friends to share in the experience. However, to maintain an intimate atmosphere, we ask that you bring no more than 3 people.
  • How far in advance should I order my wedding dress?
    All of our dresses are made to order just for you. Typically, our designers can take anywhere from 6 to 9 months to make your dress. We advise starting your search 9-12 months before your wedding day to allow for fittings and any necessary alterations. If your wedding is in the next 9 months please get in touch before booking an appointment as we may have a selection of sample dresses available for immediate purchase and we may be able to discuss rush orders with select designers.
  • What is the price range in store?
    Our dresses range from £2100 - £4800, across a range of designers, with the majority of our dresses around the £2800 - £3800 mark. We’re happy to discuss your budget in your appointment and find the perfect dress within your range.
  • What does made-to-order mean?
    Made to order means that your wedding dress is made specifically for you after you place your order, but it also requires additional time for production and delivery.
  • Are alterations included in the price?
    While alterations are not included with the purchase of your dress, we have a list of well-known seamstresses who are experienced in bridal alterations. We can recommend professionals in all areas of the UK who can ensure your dress fits perfectly.
  • What sample sizes do you carry in store?
    We have a range of different sizes in store and are able to see brides between a size 6-16.
  • Where is your boutique located, and is there parking available?
    Our boutique is located in the heart of York at 11 Colliergate, YO1 8BP. There are a few parking options within the city centre, and we are able to provide directions when you book your appointment if you need assistance.
  • What is your cancellation policy for appointments?
    We kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the slot to another bride. We are unable to refund your appointment if cancelled within 48 hours.
